Iran officially the Islamic Republic of Iran , formerly known internationally as Persia, is a Southwest Asian country located in the geographical territories of the Middle East and Southern Asia.

Centrally positioned on the coastline of North Africa, and bordered by Algeria to the west, Libya to the southeast, and the Mediterranean Sea to the north, Tunisia is striving to capitalize on its location
